The AKK Alpha 8 8W VTX is a high-power 5.8GHz FPV video transmitter built for long range FPV flights, fixed-wing planes, freestyle and racing drones. Output power is switchable from 25mW up to 8W (1W / 3W / 5W / 8W), covering 80 channels across 4.9–5.8GHz (4990–5945MHz) for full-band flexibility. SmartAudio support means you can adjust power, channel and frequency from your goggles or Betaflight OSD without opening the drone. A built-in cooling fan plus heatsink keeps the 8W module stable under sustained load, and the wide 12–28V input (3S–6S) with 5V output simplifies wiring to any flight controller. VTX table configuration is easy in Betaflight, and open-antenna protection prevents the transmitter from burning out if the antenna is disconnected. Whether you are planning a long distance video transmission build or an ultra long range FPV setup, the Alpha 8 delivers clear and stable analog video.
