Assembly stage 1: frame, motors and flight stack
Verify all component specifications and collect wiring diagrams. Prepare a multimeter, soldering equipment, insulation and current limiting. Keep connected batteries away from the work area.
Guide notes
Prepare for assembly
Verify all component specifications and collect wiring diagrams. Prepare a multimeter, soldering equipment, insulation and current limiting. Keep connected batteries away from the work area.
Dry-fit before soldering
Check every motor screw length. Position the stack, camera, antennas, capacitor and battery straps, confirming USB access, wiring space, propeller clearance and cooling. The 2023 video demonstrates one specific aircraft.
Mount and route wiring
Keep the FC properly damped and clear of rigid frame contact. Secure motor wires without tension on joints. Insulate carbon-edge contact points. Check capacitor polarity and flight-stack pinouts before connecting.
Inspect this stage
Motors must rotate freely, screws must clear windings and wiring must clear propellers. Continue to soldering and peripherals only after inspection. Do not connect the battery or install propellers yet.

Record models, hardware and firmware versions, wiring photographs and reproduction steps. Back up configuration before changes. Change one item at a time rather than mixing rewiring, flashing and parameter changes.
