Troubleshooting: verify one symptom at a time

Record models, hardware and firmware versions, wiring photographs and reproduction steps. Back up configuration before changes. Change one item at a time rather than mixing rewiring, flashing and parameter changes.

Guide notes

Record the evidence

Record models, hardware and firmware versions, wiring photographs and reproduction steps. Back up configuration before changes. Change one item at a time rather than mixing rewiring, flashing and parameter changes.

Connection or power problems

Check that the USB cable carries data, the port works and the computer detects the board. Use the board instructions for normal or DFU mode. For battery power failures, disconnect and inspect polarity, shorts and BEC supply.

Failure to arm

Remove propellers and read the arming-disable reason. Check switch ranges, throttle, receiver, sensors and USB state. Use the official explanation of CLI status flags. Never disable safeguards merely to force arming.

Flipping or video faults

For flipping, check motor numbering, direction, propellers and FC orientation. For video faults, check power, antenna, protocol and UART, then channel or binding. Stop using hardware with abnormal heat, smell or persistent link loss.
