Simulator: hovering and basic flight paths
Connect the radio with a data cable and select USB joystick mode. Assign throttle, roll, pitch and yaw, verify direction and calibrate. Begin with one practice aircraft and stable graphics settings.
Guide notes
Connect and calibrate
Connect the radio with a data cable and select USB joystick mode. Assign throttle, roll, pitch and yaw, verify direction and calibrate. Begin with one practice aircraft and stable graphics settings.
First stage: altitude control
The video teaches hover altitude management. Use an open map, make small throttle corrections and practise recovering attitude. In Acro mode, releasing the sticks does not automatically level the aircraft.
Second stage: turns and flight paths
After controlling altitude, practise slow forward flight, wide turns, rectangular circuits and flying around a fixed object. Learn individual actions before combining yaw and roll. Leave fast low flying and narrow gaps for later.
Moving to a real aircraft
First learn to complete simple circuits, slow down intentionally, recognise attitude and recover control. A simulator does not reproduce battery management, link faults or real wind; perform a separate preflight check.
